Golden Medal for Care: Arkadag Med Cluster Baby Cereal Wins at WorldFood Moscow 2025
02 Oct. 06:03Moscow, September 16–19, 2025 — At the prestigious international food industry exhibition WorldFood Moscow 2025, baby cereal Arkadag Med Cluster, produced by Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment of Turkmenistan, was awarded the gold medal in the category «Healthy and Dietary Products, Organic Food.» The victory highlighted the high quality of national production and confirmed its compliance with international standards.
WorldFood Moscow is one of the largest food exhibitions in Eurasia, annually bringing together thousands of companies from around the globe. In 2025, more than a thousand participants from dozens of countries showcased their products. The exhibition serves not only as a platform for presenting innovations but also as a hub for business networking, contracts, and exchange of new technologies.
For Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment, this recognition marked a milestone achievement. Established in the city of Arkadag, the cluster functions as a modern production hub for medical and food products. Under the brand Arkadag Med Cluster, various types of baby cereals are already produced, distinguished by their natural composition, safety, and balanced formula. The enterprise is also preparing to expand its product line with vitamins and functional nutrition for children.
The jury praised the innovative approach of the Turkmen manufacturer, its commitment to international quality standards, and its ability to meet the demands of modern parents. Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.
Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
