An intellectual and creative event dedicated to the Year’s motto — “Independent and Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Racehorses” — was held at Secondary School No. 139 in the Täze Zaman residential district of Ashgabat.

 

The event aimed to foster patriotism among students, broaden their intellectual horizons, develop creative abilities, and strengthen appreciation for the national heritage, particularly the Akhal-Teke horses — a true symbol of pride for the Turkmen people.

 

The school principal, Bossan Amangeldiyeva, delivered an opening speech highlighting the importance of the Year’s motto and emphasizing that the ideas of patriotism, spirituality, and a healthy lifestyle reflected in the works of the National Leader Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadag Serdar serve as guiding principles in educating the younger generation.

 

As part of the program, students presented poems dedicated to the Motherland and the Akhal-Teke horses in Turkmen, Russian, and English. Ninth-grade students Sapargeldi Atakhanov and Muhammedaly Garlyyev impressed the audience with their original poems, composed and recited independently.

 

History teacher Umut Saparova delivered an engaging presentation on the history and international recognition of the Akhal-Teke breed.

 

Ninth-grade student Annageldi Pirmyradov shared his experience training at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, where he practices horseback riding skills, acrobatics, and traditional equestrian games in preparation for competitions.

 

The cultural program also featured a musical performance of the song “Melegush” by second-grade student Muhammedaly Orazov. In addition, the school’s football team “Zaman” demonstrated their athletic skills during a sports showcase.

 

At the conclusion of the event, outstanding participants were awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

 

Such initiatives play an important role in nurturing a well-rounded, educated, and patriotic younger generation.
