A large-scale exhibition and the international forum “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan,” dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, are currently underway at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The events, which began on March 17, are now in full swing, bringing together a wide range of participants.

 

The exhibition showcases the achievements of Turkmen entrepreneurs and industrialists, including competitive products, modern technological solutions, and promising investment projects. Special emphasis is placed on export potential and the expansion of international cooperation.

 

Alongside the exhibition, the international forum serves as a platform for discussing investment opportunities, implementing joint projects, and strengthening business partnerships. The program includes bilateral meetings and negotiations aimed at fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.

 

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow addressed the participants with a congratulatory message, highlighting the growing contribution of the private sector to the national economy.

 

“Investment initiatives of Turkmen entrepreneurs are becoming increasingly successful, making a significant contribution to the country’s economic growth,” the message states.

 

The President emphasized that the development of the private sector remains a key priority of state policy, with particular importance attached to public-private partnerships and the involvement of businesses in priority sectors.

 

According to the socio-economic development program for 2026, the share of the non-state sector in GDP is expected to reach 72.9%. The Head of State expressed confidence that domestic entrepreneurs will continue to actively contribute to the country’s development.

 

The ongoing events have already become an important platform for showcasing the potential of Turkmenistan’s private sector and strengthening its position in the international arena.
