President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan has enacted a series of changes in the nation's diplomatic corps through several official decrees, according to state media.
As part of the reshuffle, Mukhammetgeldi Ayazov has ended his tenure as ambassador to Armenia and Lebanon and will now serve as Turkmenistan’s envoy to Saudi Arabia.
Orazmukhammet Charyev has been relieved of his position as ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Additionally, he will no longer hold concurrent posts in Bahrain, Palestine, Jordan, Oman, and Egypt, nor will he continue as the country's permanent representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Bayram Bayramov has been appointed as the new ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), replacing Serdarmammet Garadjaev, who has been released from his duties in the UAE as well as his concurrent roles in Iraq and Kuwait.
