Turkmenistan has officially determined the symbolic motto for the year 2026. The upcoming year in Turkmenistan will be held under the slogan “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds.”
The motto was approved through a resolution adopted by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. During a Government meeting held on December 26, the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, reported that the chosen motto was formed based on proposals received from the people of Turkmenistan, major public organizations, labor collectives, and citizens of the country.
At the same meeting, the emblem of the coming year in Turkmenistan was submitted for the consideration of the Head of State. Addressing the participants, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan traditionally adopts a new motto and emblem each year to reflect the nation’s contemporary vision and development priorities.
The President noted that the proposals for the motto and emblem of 2026 were prepared by members of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the people of Turkmenistan. Having endorsed these initiatives, the Head of State officially approved the national motto for 2026, a decision that was warmly welcomed by those present.
