FC Arkadag has officially confirmed the signing of Meilis Diniyev, a midfielder of the Turkmenistan national football team. The 25-year-old player will now represent one of Turkmenistan’s top clubs, which regularly competes in international tournaments.
During the previous season, Diniyev played for Kyrgyzaltyn FC from Kara-Balta, Kyrgyzstan. He appeared in 12 matches and scored two goals, demonstrating consistent performance at club level. According to football market analysts, his current market value is estimated at approximately €150,000.
The transfer comes at a crucial time for FC Arkadag, as the club prepares for demanding fixtures in continental competition. In the AFC Champions League Two round of 16, the Turkmenistan-based team is set to face Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr in a two-leg encounter.
Al-Nassr features several globally recognized football stars, making the upcoming matches a major test for Arkadag and a significant moment for football development in Turkmenistan.
