Turkmenistan Boosts Imports from Uzbekistan by Nearly $18 Million
23 Sep. 07:10According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan increased its imports from Uzbekistan by $17.9 million in the January–August 2025 period compared to the same timeframe last year.
Bilateral trade between the two countries totaled $677.8 million during the reporting period. Turkmenistan’s exports to Uzbekistan reached $581.6 million.
Meanwhile, imports from Uzbekistan into Turkmenistan amounted to $96.2 million — up from $78.3 million recorded during the same months in 2024.
