The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, chaired an extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers focused on reviewing the country’s socio-economic performance in 2025. The announcement was broadcast through the “Watan” news program.

During the meeting, participants examined progress achieved across key sectors of the national economy over the past year. Deputy Prime Ministers, heads of several ministries and agencies, as well as regional governors presented their reports. Discussions also covered priority objectives for 2026, strategic plans for further socio-economic advancement, and personnel matters, including appointments and dismissals.

The session brought together parliamentary leaders, members of the State Security Council, regional and city mayors of Ashgabat and Arkadag, university rectors, media representatives, and other invited officials.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President signed several official documents.
