Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Turkmenistan’s 34th Independence Day. In his message, Xi called for strengthening bilateral cooperation and building a "shared future" based on mutual trust and development.

Xi emphasized China's commitment to deepening political confidence with Turkmenistan, supporting each other firmly, and aligning development strategies. He also reaffirmed China's readiness to promote the Belt and Road Initiative as a foundation for long-term partnership.

The Chinese leader praised Turkmenistan’s achievements under Berdimuhamedov’s leadership, particularly within the national vision for renewal and modernization. He recalled that the two heads of state met twice this year, reaching key agreements to enhance multifaceted cooperation and to usher in a new phase of relations.

Xi Jinping concluded by stating that China values its strategic ties with Turkmenistan and sincerely celebrates the country’s progress. He wished Turkmenistan prosperity and its people happiness and well-being.
