A humanitarian convoy dispatched from Uzbekistan has successfully crossed the Turkmen-Iranian border to deliver essential relief supplies to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The transit through Turkmenistan’s territory facilitated the safe and timely transportation of the materials. The official confirmation of the logistical operation was published by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The transport fleet, consisting of 15 heavy-duty cargo vehicles, carried a substantial consignment of pharmaceuticals, medicines, and medical supplies designed to support the healthcare sector. The official handover ceremony took place directly at the "Artyk — Lutfabad" border checkpoint, a key junction facilitating international transit and regional connectivity.

The formal processing was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Ravshan Alimov, and the Ambassador of Iran to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Rozbehani. They were joined by the Governor of the Dargaz district, Mojtaba Bazmar, and the representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Khorasan-Razavi province, Heydari Fard, alongside senior officials from regional customs, healthcare, and humanitarian departments.

The Iranian authorities expressed their sincere gratitude to the President and the people of Uzbekistan for providing this crucial assistance. Commenting on the initiative, foreign policy analysts noted that the successfully executed humanitarian mission serves as an important symbol of solidarity, mutual understanding, and deep-rooted friendship between the neighboring nations.
