The 114th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva served as a platform for the Turkmen delegation to present the nation's strategic achievements in labor market modernization. The Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, M. Sylapow, and the Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions, O. Berdiliyewa, delivered key statements addressing sustainable development and systemic employment reforms.

During the plenary session, the Minister emphasized the strategic importance of the conference's agenda, which focused on utilizing artificial intelligence to foster decent work environments. The head of the ministry reaffirmed that integrating digital frameworks into the national economy remains a cornerstone of Turkmenistan’s state development policies, driving economic growth and structural transparency.

The head of the delegation highlighted that Turkmenistan advocates for a strictly human-centered approach regarding the deployment of artificial intelligence in corporate and industrial operations. This methodology ensures that technological transitions are aimed directly at expanding professional skills, multiplying labor productivity, and reinforcing overall social welfare without compromising the rights or security of the workforce.

In her remarks, the trade union leader focused on the expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan, the International Labour Organization, and the Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV). She noted that social dialogue is utilized as an essential mechanism for preserving public stability and advancing sustainable development, specifically through joint initiatives that target professional training, occupational safety, gender equality, and youth employment.
