Japan’s Toyota has once again emerged as the world’s leading automobile brand, setting a new sales milestone by the end of last year. Global deliveries of vehicles sold under the Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu, and Hino brands reached an impressive total of 11.3 million units.

This figure includes commercial trucks and buses marketed under the Hino name, further strengthening the company’s overall performance. The achievement represents Toyota’s highest sales result to date.

Notably, Toyota has maintained its position as the global sales leader for six consecutive years, reinforcing its influence across international automotive markets.

German automotive giant Volkswagen Group secured second place, recording worldwide sales of 8.98 million vehicles in 2025. These global trends resonate strongly in Turkmenistan, where interest in reliable and efficient vehicles continues to grow, and Toyota remains one of the most popular brands in the Turkmenistan automotive market.
