Tech giant HONOR has officially launched a comprehensive corporate redesign, introducing a revamped identity alongside an updated global direction. Moving beyond traditional smartphone manufacturing, the enterprise is pivoting to establish itself as a premier developer of integrated artificial intelligence solutions. As part of this visual shift, the company’s signature blue shade was replaced with a vibrant PANTONE 2193C tone, while the classic logo was enhanced with an original graphic emblem.

The company's long-term strategy focuses on creating human-centric technology designed to enhance personal capability and productivity. Among the most notable hardware announcements is the development of the HONOR Robot Phone, an upcoming device aimed at reshaping conventional expectations for mobile hardware through robotic integration.

Alongside hardware advancements, the brand is making significant investments in next-generation software architectures. Development is currently underway on Agentic OS, a platform engineered for AI-agent interactions, while the proprietary AiMAGE cloud system is receiving technological enrichment through a collaboration with cinema industry benchmark ARRI.

To complement its technical evolution, the enterprise is expanding its footprint within youth culture and global creative communities. Strategy plans include participation in major international events, high-impact brand collaborations, and extreme performance testing for its product lineup, all aligned under the newly introduced tagline, "Dare to be."

On-the-Go Power: Japanese Engineers Develop Wireless In-Road Charging for Electric Vehicles

In a major leap for electric mobility, Honda R&D, alongside Taisei Corporation and Taisei Rotec, has unveiled an innovative dynamic wireless charging system that charges electric vehicles as they drive. By embedding compact energy-transmitting modules directly into the road surface, the system transfers power via a magnetic field to receivers mounted underneath moving vehicles. Designed to withstand heavy commercial transport up to 20 tons, real-world road testing is scheduled to begin in Japan in April 2027.

The technology eliminates the need for full road reconstruction, as modules can be integrated directly into milled asphalt layers. Aimed at boosting charging power up to 150 kW in future iterations, this infrastructure solution promise to significantly reduce grid pressure on traditional charging stations, particularly for logistics and commercial fleets.
