In 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov carried out fifteen international trips, including state, official, and working visits. This information was presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, during the conference titled “International Year of Peace and Trust: Decisive Steps of Neutral Turkmenistan.”

In his address, the foreign minister emphasized that 2025 marked a milestone in the modern development of Turkmenistan. He highlighted the year’s importance for strengthening statehood, as well as advancing political stability, economic growth, and social development in Turkmenistan.

Throughout the year, hundreds of events were held both in Turkmenistan and abroad within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust. High-level bilateral cooperation remained active, with regular exchanges and diplomatic engagement involving Turkmenistan and its international partners.

Meredov also noted that the National Leader of the Turkmen people visited nine foreign countries during the same period. At the same time, Turkmenistan hosted thirty-one visits by heads of state and government from different nations.

According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, these figures clearly demonstrate Turkmenistan’s proactive foreign policy and its effective implementation of key principles of international cooperation with countries across the globe.
