A business delegation from Turkmenistan paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini to explore prospects for cooperation in trade, investment, and sustainable development. The visit focused on identifying new areas of economic partnership and long-term collaboration.
The trip was organized as part of the implementation of agreements reached following the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Eswatini. During the visit, the Turkmenistan delegation held meetings with Eswatini’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Folile Shakantu, as well as the Minister of Home Affairs, Princess Lindiwe.
Both sides expressed strong interest in strengthening investment negotiations and enhancing cooperation on global platforms, particularly in the fields of peacebuilding and sustainable development. Turkmenistan emphasized its readiness to expand constructive engagement with African countries, including Eswatini.
It is worth noting that diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Eswatini were officially established on August 5, 2025.

Entrance Examinations for Higher and Secondary Vocational Institutions Completed in Turkmenistan
24 Aug. 18:38Turkmenistan has officially concluded its admission campaign for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Held between July 13 and August 24, 2026, the examination process was conducted under state commission oversight and public supervision. Notably, entrance exams at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were administered using a standardized testing format.
Following the examination results, over 18,000 applicants were admitted to higher education institutions. Under the newly implemented "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052," several new academic tracks were established across specialist, bachelor's, and master's degree levels, aligning with the "Atlas of Future Professions." Priority admission status was granted to international competition winners, top athletes, and high school medalists.
