Turkmen student recognized as “Best student of the CIS” at international competition
27 Dec. 09:50Sanjar Hazratkulov, a second-year student majoring in Economics and Law at the Faculty of Economics of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, has achieved a remarkable international success. He participated online in the international competition “Best Student of the CIS”, held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, and was awarded a First Degree Diploma, a badge, and a trophy.
The prestigious competition was organized by the “Bilim Orkenieti” National Innovative Research Center and the “Zhana Kazakhstan” Republican Innovation Center. The jury highly appreciated Sanjar Hazratkulov’s contributions to academic research, creativity, and social engagement.
It is worth noting that the achievements of all winners will be published in the international book collection titled “Best Student of the CIS”, further highlighting the importance and recognition of the competition.
By winning this award, Sanjar Hazratkulov has joined the ranks of the most talented and promising students of the CIS countries. This accomplishment clearly reflects the high level of education, broad outlook, creative potential, and international readiness of Turkmenistan’s youth.

Entrance Examinations for Higher and Secondary Vocational Institutions Completed in Turkmenistan
24 Aug. 18:38Turkmenistan has officially concluded its admission campaign for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Held between July 13 and August 24, 2026, the examination process was conducted under state commission oversight and public supervision. Notably, entrance exams at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were administered using a standardized testing format.
Following the examination results, over 18,000 applicants were admitted to higher education institutions. Under the newly implemented "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052," several new academic tracks were established across specialist, bachelor's, and master's degree levels, aligning with the "Atlas of Future Professions." Priority admission status was granted to international competition winners, top athletes, and high school medalists.
