A Turkmen delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry Azat Ovezov, participated in the 69th Regular Session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held in Vienna from September 15 to 19.
In its address, the Turkmen side highlighted the main areas of cooperation with the IAEA and outlined upcoming national projects in food security, water resource management, and healthcare, according to Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On September 16, the Turkmen delegation also took part in the IAEA Scientific Forum, which focused on the application of nuclear and isotope technologies in addressing global water management challenges.

During his official visit to the Russian Federation, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the State Hermitage Museum, one of the world’s most renowned cultural institutions. The visit was confirmed by official representatives of the host country.
The President of Turkmenistan was accompanied by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Together, they explored the museum’s vast collections and historical exhibits.
Following the tour, an informal meeting of CIS heads of state was held in the St. George Hall of the Hermitage. Turkmenistan’s participation highlighted the country’s commitment to cultural diplomacy and regional cooperation.
