Turkey’s Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, is set to arrive in Turkmenistan on an official visit on February 11, according to the ministry’s statement. The central event of the trip will be his participation in the opening ceremony of the 12th Exhibition of Turkish Export Products, which will take place in Ashgabat from February 10 to 12.

The Turkish delegation visiting Turkmenistan will include representatives of nearly 90 companies from a wide range of economic sectors. The exhibition will showcase products from industry, agriculture, textiles, construction, and other fields.

The visit agenda also includes high-level meetings and bilateral business talks aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and Turkey and exploring new areas of cooperation.

Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Turkey reached 2.2 billion US dollars in 2024. Both sides have expressed their intention to raise this figure to 5 billion dollars in the future. The visit will conclude on February 12.
