In the city of Arkadag, traffic has been temporarily restricted since October 15 on a section of Garry Kuliyev Street located in the north of the city and connecting to Akhana Avenue. The restrictions were imposed due to construction and installation work, according to the State Construction Committee of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan and the Arkadag City Administration.
Earlier, a renovated section of the Ashgabat-Gökdepe highway was commissioned, significantly improving conditions for passengers and motorists. Road infrastructure upgrades continue as part of a program to create more comfortable conditions for citizens.
Residents and drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and strictly observe road signs.

Modern greenhouses in Gyzylarbat, Magtymguly, Bereket districts, as well as in the cities of Balkanabat and Turkmenbashi, supply fresh vegetables and greens for the shelves of mobile trade points. High-quality meat, dairy products, vegetables, and fruits are sold at affordable prices. Beautifully packaged New Year gifts attract considerable interest from buyers.
To meet public demand, the Balkan Regional Consumer Societies Union has opened more than 100 mobile trade points across all districts and cities of the region. These mobile shops will operate until January 3, 2026, according to the «Türkmenistan» newspaper.
