Starting December 5, holiday sales will open across Turkmenistan in shopping malls, markets, and retail stores, marking the celebration of the International Day of Neutrality and the approaching New Year. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyyev during Friday’s government meeting.
Plans also include the introduction of mobile retail points. A related proposal was submitted for the President’s consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring that all consumer needs are met during the festive season. He highlighted the necessity of properly organizing mobile trade operations and maintaining sufficient supplies of food products — including vegetables, melons, and fruits — in markets and shops. Following the discussion, the President issued relevant instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister, according to TDH.

A festive concert was held today to mark the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the event together with heads of state and government from foreign countries who arrived to take part in the international events organized in the country, according to the “Watan” news program.
The high-spirited musical performances praised Turkmenistan’s progress, social well-being, and the happy life of its people. The concert program, featuring folklore ensembles, theater artists, and leading performers, left a lasting impression on the audience.

The concert concluded with the inspiring song “Forward, forward, only forward, my dear Motherland, Turkmenistan!”, created by Hero Arkadag as both lyricist and composer.
