Tikenjik and Mymyjyk Await Little Viewers!
Great news for kids! The Oguz Khan-named studio “Türkmenfilm” has launched production of episodes 3 and 4 of the animated series about the adventures of Tikenjik the hedgehog and Mymyjyk the bunny. Designed for children up to 6 years old, this series shares fun and engaging stories about the two friends.
The episode titled “Good Day” made history by participating for the first time in the International Ülker Animation Festival held in Kazakhstan from August 4 to 7, 2025, proving that Turkmen animation meets global standards.
The first two episodes have become among the most popular on the “Ýaşlyk” TV channel and the “BeletFilm” online cinema. The 2D cartoon shows the heroes spending time together, playing games, listening to adults, supporting each other, and apologizing when they make mistakes.

On 15 December 2025, a ceremonial reception marking the National Day of the State of Qatar was held in Ashgabat. The event was hosted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Turkmenistan, Nasser Ahmed Mohammed Al-Taher.
The beyan.tm team was also present at the celebration.
The Guest of Honour from the Government of Turkmenistan was Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Nazar Agahanov.
In his address, the Ambassador highlighted the historical role of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, the founder of modern Qatar, and emphasized Qatar’s active role in international mediation and peacebuilding efforts.
Special attention was given to the rapid development of bilateral relations between Qatar and Turkmenistan in 2025, supported by high-level mutual visits and close ties between the leaders of the two countries.
Guests were introduced to Qatari culture through an exhibition of traditional clothing, books about Qatar, national artifacts, and falcons — a symbol of the country’s heritage. The atmosphere was enriched by traditional music, while a calligrapher artistically wrote guests’ names upon request.
