The Renovated Park Named After the 15th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence Opened in the Capital

In Ashgabat, the renovated park named after the 15th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence was inaugurated. The event holds particular significance as it coincides with the eve of celebrations for the 34th anniversary of the country's independence. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis (Parliament) of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Ministers, heads of ministries and agencies, representatives of public organizations, media, veterans, students, and joyful children.

As part of the urban development program initiated by Hero Arkadag and successfully implemented under the leadership of the esteemed President, cultural and recreational facilities continue to be built and commissioned in the capital. Special attention is also given to creating park areas for comfortable recreation and meaningful leisure for residents and visitors of Ashgabat. The park opened today exemplifies this approach. It plays an important role in fostering the creative abilities of people, especially children and youth, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle. This supports their physical development and growth of creative potential.

Caring for the younger generation is one of the key aspects of the country's successfully implemented social policy. The physical and spiritual development of youth forms the foundation for the future prosperity of the Fatherland. To achieve Turkmenistan's high goals, it is essential to create all conditions for the growth of children, particularly for their meaningful leisure, which is directly linked to caring for their environment.

The park also contributes significantly to improving the ecological situation in its area. The state policy of the esteemed President emphasizes environmental protection. Nationwide reforms in the economic and social spheres are closely tied to ecology, aimed at creating a sustainable and clean natural environment for future generations.

...First, the participants enjoyed performances by cheerful children and masters of Turkmen culture and art dedicated to the holiday. Then, the floor was given to the attendees.

In the speeches, it was noted that the opening of the renovated park is a clear confirmation of the consistent implementation of Hero Arkadag's humanistic concept "The State for the People!" under the wise guidance of Hero Arkadag Serdar. The event participants sincerely expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen People and the esteemed President for their concern about the people's well-being.

Then, in a solemn atmosphere, the ribbon was cut for the opening of the 15th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence Park. At that moment, balloons shaped like "ak kepder" (the national headwear) and white doves were released into the sky.

The new park offers all amenities for relaxation for residents and guests of the capital. Here, special areas for children's meaningful leisure harmoniously combine with flowers, various flower beds, bicycle paths,休息 zones, and other beauty elements that provide cultural recreation for people of all ages.

After the opening ceremony, various performances took place. Performances by a children's violin ensemble, fairy tale characters, artists from the Turkmen State Puppet Theater, and moments of schoolchildren taking photos left unforgettable impressions with the happy children. Within the framework of the event, creative and sports competitions were held, with winners being awarded. They received special gifts on behalf of the esteemed President and Hero Arkadag. The happy children wholeheartedly thanked the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen People for their care.

Thus, this solemn event became a vivid confirmation that, under the leadership of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the work to ensure the prosperous life of our people continues to develop and flourish.
