Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with Qatar’s Minister of International Cooperation, Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, according to QNA.
The meeting took place on Sunday on the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial session ahead of the upcoming emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, set to be held in Doha on Monday.
During the talks, the two sides discussed the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Qatar, as well as prospects for its further development. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was part of Turkmenistan’s active diplomatic engagement in the lead-up to a significant international summit in the Qatari capital.
