FC Arkadag secured a convincing 4–1 victory over Ashgabat in the second leg of the Turkmenistan Cup semifinal, advancing to the tournament final. The match took place at the Nisa Stadium in the capital.
Forward Didar Durdyyev scored twice for Arkadag in the 21st and 86th minutes. Goals from Akhmet Ataev (45+1) and Diyargylych Orazov (88) added to the tally. Ashgabat’s lone goal came from Mergen Nurliev (37).
Arkadag had also won the first leg 3–1, bringing the aggregate score to 7–2 in their favor.
In the final, Arkadag will face Ahal. The decisive match of the Turkmenistan Cup is scheduled for December 27.
