Strengthening Strategic Partnership: Hero-Arkadag Holds a Meeting with the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting with the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, who has arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit.

During the constructive talks, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations, reaffirming the commitment of both nations to strengthening good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that bilateral cooperation between the neighboring states is built upon the principles of mutual respect, historical commonality, and close spiritual values. It was emphasized that regular high-level contacts serve as a key instrument in deepening intergovernmental dialogue.

Special attention during the negotiations was paid to the outcomes of the recent state visit of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to the Republic of Azerbaijan. Hero-Arkadag expressed appreciation to the Azerbaijani side for their constructive approach toward implementing joint initiatives and reiterated his gratitude for the vessel "Dostluk," presented as a gift to the Turkmen people, which has become a symbol of unbreakable brotherly ties.

The Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, expressed his admiration for the pace of socio-economic development in Turkmenistan and noted the impressive achievements in the architectural landscape of Ashgabat.

The sides confirmed their mutual interest in further expanding economic engagement and exchanging expertise across various industries. The development of cultural and humanitarian ties, which foster closer relations between the two nations, also occupied an important place on the agenda.

A key item on the agenda was the preparation for hosting the international event "Ene-tebigat" ("Mother Nature"). The project, scheduled to be implemented in Turkmenistan from October 19 to November 30 of this year, will be a joint initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. This event is designed to inject fresh momentum into humanitarian cooperation and strengthen interaction between the two charitable organizations.

In conclusion, Hero-Arkadag and the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in the continued successful development of the bilateral partnership for the benefit of the brotherly peoples of both nations.

North Carolina resident Christian Breton has secured a major lottery payout for the second time. According to Lottery Post, he has decided to donate a portion of his winnings to support school-aged children from low-income families in his local community.

After purchasing a $30 "$100,000 Cash Payday" scratch-off ticket, Breton claimed the $100,000 top prize, taking home $72,000 after taxes. This marks his second major win, following a $2 million prize in August 2024. Breton shared that while his previous winnings went toward helping his mother, his goal this time is to give back to the community by supporting families in need.
