During his official visit to Japan, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a formal state dinner held at the Akasaka Palace in Tokyo. The event formed an important element of the diplomatic agenda of Turkmenistan’s head of state in the Japanese capital.

Earlier in the day, the President of Turkmenistan held a series of high-level meetings in Tokyo, including discussions with members of the Japanese Parliament, executives of major Japanese corporations, and an audience with the Emperor of Japan. During his official visit to the Russian Federation, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the State Hermitage Museum, one of the world’s most renowned cultural institutions. The visit was confirmed by official representatives of the host country.

The President of Turkmenistan was accompanied by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Together, they explored the museum’s vast collections and historical exhibits.

Following the tour, an informal meeting of CIS heads of state was held in the St. George Hall of the Hermitage. Turkmenistan’s participation highlighted the country’s commitment to cultural diplomacy and regional cooperation.
