On March 26-27, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus, N. Shagulyyew, conducted a working visit to the Grodno region. These celebrations were dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and the year 2026, themed "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — Home of Prosperity as Swift as a Stallion."

A significant part of the program included the presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s new book, "Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Path of Peace and Trust." During high-level meetings with university leadership, the Ambassador discussed expanding academic cooperation and bilateral exchange of educational expertise. Ambassador Shagulyyew delivered a comprehensive speech to professors and students, detailing Turkmenistan's achievements over three and a half decades of independence and the symbolic meaning behind the current year's motto.
