The President emphasized that Akhal-Teke horses represent a vital part of the national heritage and serve as a symbol of the people's historical journey and future aspirations.

The address underscores the global significance of the Akhal-Teke breed within the world's equestrian culture. It notes that these "heavenly horses" were developed through centuries of meticulous folk selection, becoming a source of national pride and a treasure of world civilization. The Head of State pointed out that the horse has always held a sacred place in the life of the Turkmen people, being featured prominently in national proverbs, traditions, and art.

The work of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the specialized Research and Production Center in Arkadag city is instrumental in maintaining the purity of the breed through scientific methods. Furthermore, the international achievements of the "Galkynysh" National Equestrian Games group were highlighted as a testament to the global prestige of Turkmen horsemanship.

Looking ahead, the government plans to host various equestrian sports events and cultural forums both domestically and abroad throughout 2026.
