“Kyrgyzaltyn” Congratulates Meýlis Diniyev on His First Goal for Turkmenistan’s National Team

The press office of the Kyrgyz football club “Kyrgyzaltyn” extended congratulations to their forward Meýlis Diniyev after he scored his debut goal for Turkmenistan’s national team in the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifying match against Chinese Taipei.

The 25-year-old striker came onto the field in the 70th minute and, nine minutes later, netted his first goal for the national side. In the 79th minute, following an assist from Teýmur Charyyev, he set the final score at 3–1 in favor of Turkmenistan.

The club’s official statement read:
“We congratulate Meýlis Diniyev on his call-up to Turkmenistan’s national team! He strengthened the squad and scored an important goal in the match against Chinese Taipei. Turkmenistan won 3–1. We are proud of Meýlis and wish him continued success both at the club and on the international stage! Forward, champion!”

Turkmenistan head coach Rovshan Meredov also praised the forward’s play, saying:
“Diniyev came in and did exactly what was required — he improved the team’s performance.”

This victory allowed Turkmenistan to remain at the top of Group D with 12 points, ahead of Thailand on goal difference. The decisive match between the two teams is scheduled for March 31, 2026, in Thailand.

Bayern Munich secured their 12th German Supercup title after defeating Borussia Dortmund 2:1 at Signal Iduna Park. Vincent Kompany's side took early control of the match with first-half goals from Nathaniel Brown and Michael Olise.

Fábio Silva scored the sole goal for Dortmund in the 75th minute, while Ramy Bensebaini was sent off with a direct red card in the 90th minute. With this victory, Bayern Munich further solidifies its record for the most Supercup titles in German football history.

Looking ahead to the new Bundesliga campaign, Bayern Munich will face Stuttgart on August 28, while Borussia Dortmund opens against Hamburg on August 29.
