Source

Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are taking concrete steps to significantly deepen their trade relations. The Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan has drafted an agreement outlining the creation of bilateral Trade Houses in major cities of both nations.

The document, currently open for public review, aims to enhance economic cooperation and boost mutual trade on principles of shared benefit.

Under the proposal, two entities will be established: the “Turkmenistan Trade House in Kazakhstan” will operate in Almaty, while the “Kazakhstan Trade House in Turkmenistan” will open its doors in Ashgabat.

These institutions will serve as hubs for business interaction. Their role includes promoting national goods and services, organizing exhibitions and marketing events, and facilitating the exchange of professional expertise between entrepreneurs.

The draft agreement also states that both governments will support the creation of these Trade Houses by assisting with legal registration, providing necessary premises, and developing logistics infrastructure to ensure effective operations.

The project is expected to strengthen long-term commercial ties, streamline business communication, expand bilateral trade, and form a stable foundation for joint export and investment initiatives.
