Residents and guests of Ashgabat are invited to attend the Korean Culture Festival, taking place on October 3 and 4. The event is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan to promote cultural understanding and friendship between the two nations.

October 3, at 5:00 PM, a cultural program will be held at the “Arkach” Shopping and Entertainment Center. Highlights include:

• Korean calligraphy workshops (write your name in Hangul),

• trying on the traditional Korean outfit Hanbok,

• a themed photo zone “Journey to Korea,”

• exhibitions showcasing Korea’s rich heritage.

October 4, at 7:00 PM, a concert will take place at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theatre. Featured performers:
Mr. Kwon Hwapyeong (tenor) and
Ms. Kwon Minji (mezzo-soprano),
with the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan.

Admission to all events is free.
