During his working visit to the United States, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with John Reese, Chief Executive Officer of Nicklaus Companies, TDH reported.

The sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of sports infrastructure development, particularly in the area of golf. John Reese expressed confidence that the President’s visit would give new impetus to strengthening relations between the two countries and to promoting future joint projects.

President Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan views the advancement of sports and tourism as key components of sustainable national development. He noted that the country is actively creating modern sports and tourism facilities that meet international standards of quality, environmental safety, and innovation.

The head of state highlighted the global expertise and reputation of Nicklaus Companies, one of the leading organizations in golf course design. As a successful example of cooperation, he mentioned the international-level golf club built in Ashgabat, which has become a milestone in promoting golf in Turkmenistan.

President Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to consider new projects proposed by the American company, underlining that the country maintains a favorable investment climate and is open to long-term partnerships with foreign businesses.
