Authorities in the Dashoguz province are intensifying efforts to upgrade regional transportation arteries, focusing on the quality and durability of rural and urban roads. Current operations are centered on a strategic section in the Boldumsaz district, where crews are currently surfacing a 1.5-kilometer stretch with high-grade asphalt. This initiative is part of a broader provincial program aimed at revitalizing essential links to agricultural communities and enhancing local connectivity.
Beyond Boldumsaz, renovation projects are simultaneously underway in the Akdepe district and various sectors of Dashoguz city. The logistical backbone of these upgrades is supported by a dedicated production facility in the Gubadag district, which ensures a steady supply of paving materials. Experts emphasize that the continuous improvement of the road-transport system is a key driver for the increasing volume of transit and passenger traffic, positioning the northern region as a well-connected economic hub within the national infrastructure framework.
