Govher Khadzhimuradova became the winner of the competition "Shining Star of the Year"
17 Dec. 14:00The National Drama Theater named after Alp Arslan held the final of the annual musical competition "Shining Star of the Year", organized by the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, the Ministry of Culture and the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.
Ten vocalists aged 17 to 35, selected from all regions of the country, took part in the final stage of the competition. The participants performed two compositions, one of which was played without musical accompaniment.
The winner of the competition was the singer Govkher Khadzhimuradova. Durdy Durdiev, the winner of last year's competition, presented the transitional trophy and the main prize.
The results were determined based on jury voting and audience SMS voting.

Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
