Turkmenistan Launches Regular Intercity Bus Fleet Linking Ashgabat and Avaza National Tourist Zone

Operating daily, this strategic transportation framework is engineered to provide uninterrupted, high-capacity passenger transit connecting the capital to the Caspian Sea coastline throughout the summer holiday season.
The daily itinerary features early morning departures from Ashgabat and afternoon return dispatches from the coastal resort district. To streamline consumer access and integrate electronic ticketing infrastructures, the operator has deployed dual purchasing channels; passengers can secure tickets through traditional physical terminals at the International Passenger Terminal or utilize automated mobile applications designed for real-time digital seat reservation.
To support logistical compliance and consumer communication, dedicated corporate hotlines have been established for public inquiries. Concurrently, municipal and tourism portfolios confirm that the hospitality network within the Avaza National Tourist Zone—comprising world-class seaside hotels, youth wellness camps, and family recreation complexes—has been thoroughly updated to deliver premium leisure, sanitary, and entertainment standards for thousands of concurrent visitors.

Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.
Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
