CIET-2025 Forum in Awaza to Spotlight Turkmenistan’s Industrial and Energy Ambitions
21 Oct. 09:02On November 3–4, 2025, Turkmenistan will host the CIET-2025 International Conference and Exhibition in the National Tourist Zone of Awaza. The event will highlight the country’s advancements and investment opportunities in construction, industry, and energy. Over 300 participants from countries including Japan, Turkey, South Korea, and the UAE have already registered.
Organizers describe the event as a key networking platform for local entrepreneurs to establish direct international partnerships. Several global companies will be visiting Turkmenistan for the first time.
Notable attendees include Eisaku Ito (President & CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries), Ahmet Çalık (Chairman of Çalık Holding), Erman Ilıcak (Chairman of Rönesans Holding), Tomohiro Takashina (Director of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. in Turkmenistan), and Richard Dion (Senior Advisor on Partnerships at CONNEX Support Unit).
The forum will feature groundbreaking ceremonies for major infrastructure projects, interactive sessions on sustainable industrial development, clean energy, and smart construction, as well as a showcase of cutting-edge technologies. The event will coincide with Turkmenistan’s Day of Construction and Industry Workers.

Major International Exhibition and Congress on Healthcare, Education, and Sports Opens in Turkmenistan
10 Oct. 07:33A multi-sector international exhibition and scientific conference celebrating National Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industry Workers' Day officially opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Expo Center in Ashgabat. In his official greeting to attendees, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the ongoing integration of advanced technologies and international collaboration. The President noted that key landmarks during this 35th anniversary year of independence include the opening of new International Centers for Oncology, Pediatrics, and Dentistry, alongside modern expansions at the "Archman" health resort.
Running through October 12, the three-day event serves as a global platform uniting state ministries, international manufacturers, medical specialists, and researchers. The agenda encompasses interactive exhibition stands, technical sessions, specialized workshops, and strategic B2B and B2G business negotiations.
