A formal award ceremony was held on January 31 at the National Art Center in Tokyo to honor participants of the international exhibition titled “Art Without Borders.” The event marked the conclusion of a large-scale cultural initiative bringing together young artists from various countries, including Turkmenistan.

The exhibition ran from January 22 to February 1 and was jointly organized by the Japan–Eurasia Society and the SUMI International Association. Throughout the exhibition period, visitors had the opportunity to explore diverse artistic perspectives shaped by different cultures.

Turkmenistan was represented by 26 gifted school students whose artworks were displayed in a dedicated section highlighting Turkmenistan’s cultural identity. This special presentation attracted significant interest and underscored the creative potential of young talents from Turkmenistan.

The closing ceremony gathered representatives of foreign embassies accredited in Japan, leaders of cultural institutions, renowned artists, and exhibition guests. All participating schoolchildren from Turkmenistan were awarded certificates of appreciation, reinforcing Turkmenistan’s growing presence in international cultural and artistic exchanges.
