Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, held talks in Washington with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is also serving as Acting National Security Advisor to the President. The meeting was reported by U.S. State Department Deputy Press Secretary Tommy Pigott.
The discussions focused on strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as ensuring security in Central Asia. According to Pigott, Secretary Rubio reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to continued cooperation with Turkmenistan.
Special emphasis was placed on the C5+1 diplomatic platform, aimed at promoting regional integration and enhancing security in Central Asia.

Designed to withstand heavy commercial transport up to 20 tons, real-world road testing is scheduled to begin in Japan in April 2027.
The technology eliminates the need for full road reconstruction, as modules can be integrated directly into milled asphalt layers. Aimed at boosting charging power up to 150 kW in future iterations, this infrastructure solution promise to significantly reduce grid pressure on traditional charging stations, particularly for logistics and commercial fleets.
