MMA fighter Abdyllya Babayev, representing Turkmenistan, is scheduled to step into the cage on February 20. The bout will take place at Fight Nights 134 in Sochi, Russia, where the Turkmenistan athlete will face Russian contender Inal Khasbulatov in the lightweight division.

Babayev is widely regarded as one of Turkmenistan’s most accomplished combat sports athletes. He holds international master status in combat sambo, is a three-time World Cup winner, and has claimed world and Asian championship titles in pankration. In mixed martial arts, Babayev has built an impressive streak of five consecutive victories, all secured before the final bell.

His most recent fight occurred in November 2025 at the Sokol 2 event, where the Turkmenistan representative defeated Faiza Gulonov. Prior to that, Babayev recorded wins over Gabib Guseynov, Anvar Magomayev, Mahdi Farhani, and Abdulaziz Yuldashev, consistently strengthening his professional record.

Inal Khasbulatov enters the fight with eight wins and two losses on his record. Fans in Turkmenistan and abroad will be able to watch the bout live on the “Udar” TV channel, with the fight expected to begin at 8:00 PM Ashgabat time.
