Turkmenistan Represented at Global Science Arena: Student Wins International Award

A student from the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi has brought recognition to Turkmenistan by winning the international scientific competition New Science Award 2025, held in the Russian Federation.

Mukam Saryev, a fourth-year student majoring in Biology, was awarded a first-degree diploma for his research work. This achievement highlights the growing scientific potential of Turkmenistan and the strong academic training provided by the country’s higher education institutions.

Following the competition, the student’s scientific study was selected for publication in the official collection of research papers by the competition’s winners. The work was also included in the competition’s archival database, further strengthening Turkmenistan’s presence in the international scientific community.

















Entrance Examinations for Higher and Secondary Vocational Institutions Completed in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan has officially concluded its admission campaign for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Held between July 13 and August 24, 2026, the examination process was conducted under state commission oversight and public supervision. Notably, entrance exams at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were administered using a standardized testing format.

Following the examination results, over 18,000 applicants were admitted to higher education institutions. Under the newly implemented "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052," several new academic tracks were established across specialist, bachelor's, and master's degree levels, aligning with the "Atlas of Future Professions." Priority admission status was granted to international competition winners, top athletes, and high school medalists.
