Turkmen Female Students Secure I and II Places in International Russian Language Olympiad
26 Mar. 05:39Female students from Turkmenistan have achieved top honors at the International Russian Language Olympiad organized by the Siberian Federal University in Russia. According to the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" news outlet, students from 53 universities across 31 countries participated in the competition. The outstanding performance of the Turkmen representatives highlights the high standard of linguistic education and academic excellence in the country.
Lale Rzagulyyeva, a 4th-year student majoring in "Russian Language and Literature" at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, emerged as the first-place winner. Additionally, Dildora Bahtiyorova, a Turkmen student currently studying at the South Ural State University in the Russian Federation, secured the second-place position. Their success reflects the growing academic capabilities of Turkmen youth on the global stage.
The Olympiad tasks were designed to go beyond traditional grammar and phonetics, challenging participants to utilize creative problem-solving and modern technologies. The competition required students to work with diverse sources and demonstrate proficiency in using neural networks and artificial intelligence tools. The Turkmen students showcased exceptional skill in navigating these innovative requirements, proving their adaptability to contemporary academic trends.
A total of nearly 500 students from 40 Russian educational institutions and 53 international universities participated in the event. According to the organizers, the largest groups of international participants this year hailed from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, and China. This victory serves as a testament to the talent of Turkmen students and their ability to compete at the highest international levels of humanitarian and scientific study.

Entrance Examinations for Higher and Secondary Vocational Institutions Completed in Turkmenistan
24 Aug. 18:38Turkmenistan has officially concluded its admission campaign for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Held between July 13 and August 24, 2026, the examination process was conducted under state commission oversight and public supervision. Notably, entrance exams at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were administered using a standardized testing format.
Following the examination results, over 18,000 applicants were admitted to higher education institutions. Under the newly implemented "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052," several new academic tracks were established across specialist, bachelor's, and master's degree levels, aligning with the "Atlas of Future Professions." Priority admission status was granted to international competition winners, top athletes, and high school medalists.
