During the past week, 29 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The total value of contracts concluded with foreign business entities exceeded 7.133 million US dollars, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased export products manufactured by the state concerns “Turkmennebit” and “Turkmenhimiya”. The exported goods included liquefied gas, urea produced at Turkmenhimiya facilities, as well as desulfurized diesel fractions.
In addition, entrepreneurs from Turkey and Ukraine acquired cotton oil by-products, including crude fatty acids and non-distilled residues, along with textile goods such as solid-dyed and jacquard terry fabrics.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan’s domestic market saw active participation from local businesses. Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased products worth over 669.542 million manats, including base oils, polypropylene and road bitumen supplied by Turkmennebit, as well as Portland cement, yarn, raw silk and wheat flour.

10 Oct. 07:33A multi-sector international exhibition and scientific conference celebrating National Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industry Workers' Day officially opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Expo Center in Ashgabat. In his official greeting to attendees, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the ongoing integration of advanced technologies and international collaboration. The President noted that key landmarks during this 35th anniversary year of independence include the opening of new International Centers for Oncology, Pediatrics, and Dentistry, alongside modern expansions at the "Archman" health resort.
Running through October 12, the three-day event serves as a global platform uniting state ministries, international manufacturers, medical specialists, and researchers. The agenda encompasses interactive exhibition stands, technical sessions, specialized workshops, and strategic B2B and B2G business negotiations.
