Turkmenistan Faces Unusual Weather Mix: Wet Snow and Temperatures up to +23°C

Meteorological forecasts indicate wet snow in several regions of Turkmenistan, while daytime temperatures in some areas may rise as high as +23°C.
Throughout the week, precipitation levels across Turkmenistan are expected to range from light to moderate, with totals between 0.1 and 9.0 mm. Changing cloud cover and shifting wind patterns will define the overall weather situation.
In Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, residents can expect unsettled conditions with wet snow and variable cloudiness. Winds will shift from easterly to northwesterly directions, strengthening to speeds of up to 16 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between slight frost and +9°C, while daytime values may reach +22°C.
The Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan will also experience wet snow. Nighttime temperatures will range from -1°C to +12°C, with daytime highs approaching +22°C, although coastal areas will remain cooler.
In the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan, sharp temperature contrasts are forecast. Frost may occur at night, but daytime conditions will feel noticeably warmer, with temperatures climbing to +23°C under strengthening winds.
Mary velayat in Turkmenistan is expected to see wet snow during the middle of the week. Cooler nights will gradually give way to mild daytime temperatures of up to +22°C.
The Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan may encounter snowfall during the latter part of the week. Nighttime temperatures could drop to -4°C, while daytime readings will vary between +2°C and +21°C.
Northern Turkmenistan, particularly the Dashoguz velayat, will experience the most wintry conditions. Snowfall is expected, with sub-zero nighttime temperatures and relatively cool daytime highs not exceeding +13°C.

The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.
Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
