A new visa processing operator has been appointed in Turkmenistan for Turkish visa applications. Mosaic Visa has officially taken over responsibility for receiving and processing visa requests from citizens of Turkmenistan, replacing Gateway International, which has ceased its operations in the country.

The Mosaic Visa Turkmenistan visa center is set to open soon in Ashgabat. The office will be located at 71 G. Kuliyev Street (2127), within the “MB” Söwda Merkezi. In Turkmenistan, applications will be accepted strictly by prior appointment starting from January 12.

Citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to submit their documents either through an online application system or by visiting the visa center in person. All applications previously submitted through Gateway International in Turkmenistan will remain valid and will continue to be processed under standard procedures.

The visa regime between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye has been in effect since September 2022. Applicants from Turkmenistan may apply for various visa categories, including tourist, employment, student, business, transit, and other types. Required documentation depends on the visa category and the regulations of the Turkish authorities.

Mosaic Visa is officially accredited by Turkish consular institutions. In Turkmenistan, the visa center will operate from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00, while during the month of Ramadan working hours will be from 09:00 to 14:00. It is also emphasized that final decisions regarding visa approval or refusal for citizens of Turkmenistan are made solely by the consulate.
