A delegation from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan conducted a series of productive meetings in Moscow aimed at strengthening academic ties with leading higher education institutions of the Russian Federation. The primary focus of the parties was the practical implementation of existing cooperation agreements and the identification of new formats for interaction in the educational sphere.

During negotiations with the leadership of MGIMO University, detailed discussions were held regarding the prospects of launching joint educational projects specializing in energy diplomacy and international relations. Particular emphasis was placed on developing academic exchange programs for both students and faculty members, which is expected to significantly enhance the professional training standards for future international experts.

In the course of official consultations with representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the high dynamics of bilateral dialogue in the humanitarian field were noted. The participants confirmed that scientific and educational integration remains an essential component of the strategic partnership between the two nations, fostering mutual understanding and long-term cooperation.

The visit concluded with an expert round table dedicated to the development of modern teaching aids, including instructional materials for the Turkmen language. The parties outlined specific steps for expanding the mutual publication of scientific research and intensifying youth initiatives in public diplomacy, establishing a solid foundation for the further convergence of the intellectual communities of Turkmenistan and Russia.
