Turkmen Scientists Launch Digital Tools for Education and Energy Monitoring
Faculty members of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas have developed an anti-plagiarism software titled “Antiplagiat,” which has been officially certified by the State Intellectual Property Service of Turkmenistan.
The software identifies unreferenced text fragments in academic and educational materials, supporting both Turkmen and foreign languages. It is already being used to assess the originality of student research and academic work.
The project was led by Maksat Churiev, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity. Co-developers include Mergen Amanov, Sapardurdy Ashyrov, Redzhepmyrat Myratberdiev, and Rahat Nepesov.
Additionally, a group of students and young specialists created a smart energy monitoring system for lighting equipment that functions without the need for expensive sensors or infrastructure.
These initiatives reflect Turkmenistan’s growing focus on innovation, digital transformation in education, and the advancement of scientific research through technology.
