The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People's Republic of China, in collaboration with the "China-Turkmenistan Business Council Ltd.," hosted an international dialogue in Beijing focused on bilateral relations and national development priorities. As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the event was centered on key decisions adopted during the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty and preparations for its upcoming session.

The Turkmen Ambassador to China opened the proceedings by detailing the strategic directives set forth by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The presentation highlighted Turkmenistan's socioeconomic achievements, key vectors of Turkmen-Chinese strategic cooperation, and long-term development targets established between the two nations.

A central point of discussion was the recent unanimous adoption by the UN General Assembly of Turkmenistan's resolution declaring 2028 as the "International Year of International Law." It was noted that China served as a co-sponsor alongside 78 other member states, underscoring the strong diplomatic alignment and mutual support between Ashgabat and Beijing on the global stage.

The forum concluded with insightful addresses from academic directors, scholars from Lanzhou and Qinghai Universities, executives from the Gansu Academy of Social Sciences, and prominent commercial representatives. Participants commended Turkmenistan's progress as it celebrates the 35th anniversary of its independence and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral institutional ties.
