The Ashgabat Khakimlik has announced the full restoration of traffic on the section of Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue (Podvoisky Avenue) between Atamurat Niyazov Avenue and Archabil Avenue.
Recall that traffic restrictions on this segment were in place since August 6 due to landscaping works in preparation for the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality.
Currently, all works have been completed, and traffic in the central part of the capital is operating in its normal mode.

On 15 December 2025, a ceremonial reception marking the National Day of the State of Qatar was held in Ashgabat. The event was hosted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Turkmenistan, Nasser Ahmed Mohammed Al-Taher.
The beyan.tm team was also present at the celebration.
The Guest of Honour from the Government of Turkmenistan was Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Nazar Agahanov.
In his address, the Ambassador highlighted the historical role of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, the founder of modern Qatar, and emphasized Qatar’s active role in international mediation and peacebuilding efforts.
Special attention was given to the rapid development of bilateral relations between Qatar and Turkmenistan in 2025, supported by high-level mutual visits and close ties between the leaders of the two countries.
Guests were introduced to Qatari culture through an exhibition of traditional clothing, books about Qatar, national artifacts, and falcons — a symbol of the country’s heritage. The atmosphere was enriched by traditional music, while a calligrapher artistically wrote guests’ names upon request.
