The Ambassador of Thailand concludes his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan
On July 31, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ahmed Gurbanov, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Turkmenistan (resident in Ankara), Apirat Sugondhabhir. The Thai diplomat is concluding his mission in Ashgabat.
During the meeting, the parties assessed the current level of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Thailand in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Issues related to strengthening the treaty and legal framework of cooperation were discussed.
The diplomats noted the effectiveness of the countries’ interaction within international organizations, particularly the United Nations. The Turkmen side emphasized Thailand’s contribution to the preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will soon take place in Avaza.
The parties also exchanged views on prospects for developing cultural and humanitarian ties. Thailand expressed interest in establishing cooperation between universities of the two countries.
The Turkmen side thanked Ambassador Apirat Sugondhabhir for his contribution to the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Thailand.

High-quality meat, dairy products, vegetables, and fruits are sold at affordable prices. Beautifully packaged New Year gifts attract considerable interest from buyers.
To meet public demand, the Balkan Regional Consumer Societies Union has opened more than 100 mobile trade points across all districts and cities of the region. These mobile shops will operate until January 3, 2026, according to the «Türkmenistan» newspaper.
