An academic intellectual competition among university students will take place in Turkmenistan in celebration of the Diplomatic Workers’ Day. The event is scheduled for February 16 and will be hosted by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The competition is organized under the national slogan of 2026, “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Swift Horses and Noble Aspirations.” Student teams from leading higher education institutions of Turkmenistan will participate, including Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the University of Humanities and Development, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Döwletmämmet Azady, and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Each university of Turkmenistan will be represented by a team of six students. Participants will be required to demonstrate their academic knowledge, analytical skills, responsiveness, and teamwork abilities.

A professional jury will evaluate the teams’ performances. The winners will receive awards and will also be granted the opportunity to attend an international conference and a festive concert dedicated to the Diplomatic Workers’ Day of Turkmenistan, which will take place on February 18 at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
